26 Jul Delete Magento User Role

In the previous lessons, we learned how to add a new Magento User. We also saw, how to add a new User Role and assign permissions. Let’s say the Editor you hired and assigned permissions to is leaving the job. In that case, you need to delete the editor user from the store. So, here, we will learn how to delete Magento User Role.

Deleting a User role is quite simple, login to the store as an admin and reach the Dashboard.

Go to SYSTEM > All Users under Permission section.

Now, under Users section, you can see all the user roles as in the following screenshot,

Now click Editor, here, we’re deleting the Editor role. On reaching the Editor section, you can see a Delete Role option is visible.

Click on it to delete the role as shown below,
