25 Jul Add Magento Synonym Group

Create a synonym group to show users the search results on the basis of synonym of the product.  Learn about how to add Magento Synonym Group here. In the previous lesson, we learned how to check Search Terms. Let’s see an example that how search terms can be customized with Synonym Group, to help users in searching what they want easily.

Let’s see an example,

A customer entered for Shirts in the search query, then the results will show products for Shirts, but by creating a synonym group, you can show the results for Shirts & Clothings as well. So, whenever customer types Shirts under search query, the result will fetch both Shirts and Clothings.

Here, we will see how to add a synonym group,

Go to MARKETING, and then under SEO & Search, click Search Synonyms,

Now, click New Synonym Group to add a new Magento synonym group,

Here, we successfully added Magento Synonym Group,
