What is Structured Data

Structured Data, as the name suggests is Organized data. Such type of data can be easily stored in a table with rows and columns. Here are some key points related to Structured Data:

  • Predefined data model (Relational)
  • Quantitative Data i.e. numbers and values
  • Only 20 % of enterprise data is structured (Source: Gartner)
  • Can be easily stored in databases, tables, rows, and columns
  • Easy to search

Examples: Student data, such as name, age, phone number
