27 Jan Meet GoGlobalWays: Nurturing Gen Alpha with Coding AI VR & Robotics
We, at Studyopedia, spoke with GoGlobalWays’ Founder, Dr. Nidhi Khurana. She gave us some advice on how to teach children to code. We were also really interested in learning about her path, including how she expanded her business and what drove her.
1. At what point did you realize you have an entrepreneurial spirit?
The entrepreneurial spirit appears to have emerged from a combination of academic expertise, research background, and a desire to contribute to education through innovative and impactful initiatives like GoGlobalWays. I identified a gap in the education system and took the initiative to address it. The emphasis on STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics)
2. How did the concept for GoGlobalWays originate? Tell us more about the company.
An EdTech start-up by a mother and an educator to make the kids future-ready. Goglobalways makes kids learn CODING, Electronics, Robotics, Metaverse, AI, and IOT at the age of 6 plus till teens. GoGlobalWays offers a Technology Wise Ladder© Proprietary curriculum that prepares your kids to succeed in an increasingly digital world. Our world-class curriculum and learning resources are curated, keeping in mind the requirements of kids, teachers, and parents of all learning abilities. Keeping the 3 C’s as foci- Creativity, Capacity, and Curiosity, we cover cutting-edge technologies and platforms.
3. During creating and expanding GoGlobalWays, what were some of the major obstacles you had to overcome?
Adapting to diverse educational settings, and incorporating different curricula, teaching methods, and technological preferences posed a complex challenge. Creating awareness and garnering a user base demanded strategic marketing. Establishing a robust online presence and effectively reaching the intended audience proved to be a hurdle. Overcoming parental skepticism toward embracing a novel technological solution was a crucial aspect.
4. What distinguishes the GoGlobalWays website from other e-learning resources?
GoGlobalWays conducts online programs in 1:1 or small, interactive groups with live sessions, this could set it apart from platforms that offer pre-recorded content. Live interaction can enhance the learning experience and facilitate better engagement.
We do not believe in the “one-size-fits-all” approach and we aim to make education more personalized to suit the needs of the kids. Our team of academic experts works relentlessly to provide academically sound content of the highest caliber that helps kids develop the skills required to succeed in a tech-ruled future. From having well-structured curriculums for all the technologies of all the age groups to tailoring the curriculum to your needs.
5. A variety of abilities or methods are necessary for success as an entrepreneur. What attributes make someone a successful entrepreneur?
Once you’ve crossed the conventional learning stages, like your degrees, exams, and everything. You realize that there’s a world of knowledge beyond all of these papers and books that you’ve still got to comprehend. So, I remind myself that every day is a learning opportunity. It can be as simple as understanding how an app is more user-friendly than others or how a minor tweak in your script can make the code run faster. Keeping your legs on the ground, and reading the latest journals and magazines about the industry keeps you in touch with all the recent developments.
And besides all of this, I also journal every day. I believe that connecting with your consciousness and introspection allows you to push yourself even further.
6. What part, in your opinion, will e-learning play in the future of education, and how may artificial intelligence fit into this picture?
Children are not just growing up with computers and video games anymore; they are growing up in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI has the potential to revolutionize early childhood education by providing personalized learning experiences, interactive content, intelligent tutoring, speech recognition, and virtual assistants. By integrating AI in early childhood education, we can help young learners develop the skills they need to succeed in the future.
Have your kid using Alexa and other virtual assistants, such as Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri?
Yes you and your kid are using AI Machine learning
E-learning is poised to play a crucial role in the future of education, and artificial intelligence (AI) will contribute by enabling personalized learning, adaptive platforms, intelligent tutoring, automated assessment, virtual reality experiences, and more. AI in education aims to enhance accessibility, tailor learning experiences, and streamline administrative
7. What is your opinion on why coding is important for kids?
Tell Me and I Forget; Teach Me and I May Remember; Involve Me and I Learn
When you pick up a skill, in our case it’s coding, you look at it objectively. For the first few days, the skill itself is a novel experience for you, which is why you don’t need any extra push to sit down and learn more about it. But once a few days pass by, we’re stuck in a loop where either the skill becomes a burden because it has gotten lackluster or it is abandoned with the plethora of things we’ve begun but never finished.
To make sure coding is not met with the same destiny, we believe that it’s essential that we keep the kids engaged and entertained from day 1 to D-day. Embracing challenges, understanding concepts through play, tinkering with their peers, and learning from an expert, all ensure that coding becomes a fun activity for them. One where they learn more about technology, get prepared for the future, and equip themselves with a new skill.
5. In the upcoming years, what objectives do you expect to accomplish?
GoGlobalWays started with a vision of making sure that kids aren’t terrified of getting grades and marks. But they’re more engrossed in learning new things with an indomitable curiosity. We started with a realization and now we’re here touching hundreds of lives, various schools, and countries. And I believe success isn’t just some numbers, it’s the purpose you fulfill in the long run. And I think we’re on our way, to transforming lives, making kids happier, and empowering them with the practical knowledge they need to succeed in the outside world. So, we’ve been not only successful but blessed with a beautiful mission.
STEAM Ladder® Proprietary curriculum for our flagship academic program STEAM LADDER CLASSES. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching STEAM concepts through hands-on learning. I dream that GoGlobalWays reaches as many communities as possible, inspiring the next generation of young and inquiring minds.
