What is C#

C# is a high-level, object-oriented programming language designed and developed by Microsoft in 2000.  The 1st version was released in 2002. Microsoft introduced C# along with .NET Framework and Visual Studio.

What is Java

Java developed by James Gosling launched in the year 1994. Java is quite popular for Write Once, Run Anywhere. Also, Java comes with a compiler and interpreter. It is said to be based on C++ and considered a pure object-oriented language since it only deals with Object object-oriented programming (OOP).
